Art Classes

Inspire your child's imagination and self-expression with a world of hands-on art activities. Through painting, sculpture, drawing, collage, dramatic play and more, our classes encourage confidence and support artistic potential.

Art I16-24 months

Discover art hands-on through sculpture, painting, story time, our tactile table and more. Children explore new and familiar tactile materials, which supports fine motor skills and language development. At this age, exploration is more important than the “finished” work of art.
 

Art II24-36 months

Paint, sing, sculpt, collage and imagine in a uniquely creative space. Children learn what happens when they mix colors and textures. This type of experimentation and self expression encourages children to use their imaginations and develop their creativity.

Art III3-5 years

Gain confidence in self-expression and artistic exploration through a hands-on, multimedia experience. Children are encouraged to use their imaginations as they create artwork based on the weekly theme. They begin to draw and paint familiar symbols (mommy, animals, bugs, etc.) and tell stories about them. Parent participation is optional.

Family Artmulti-age

Be inspired together and make colorful memories in the Gymboree Art Studio. All activities are chosen from our art programming to best meet the needs and age ranges of the children attending each class.
