Baby Signs® For ages 6 mos - 18 mos

Babies understand adult language and want to communicate their needs, desires and interests long before they can speak. Learning baby signs encourages this communication.

The Gymboree Baby Signs Program was developed by, Drs. Acrodolo and Goodwyn, two well-known child development researchers. During our classes, we use songs and toys to make learning baby signs fun. We also provide many fun tools for you and your family to use at home, such as a parent guidebook, CD, DVD and picture books. We currently offer the following two classes.

Baby Signs I

This program covers 6 themes, such as, mealtime, bath, getting dressed and pets.

Baby Signs II

This program covers important signs for communication, such as, feelings and safety.
