English Classes

This class is targeted at non-native English speakers. We focus on the importance of using English as a communication tool. Children learn daily greetings and vocabulary needed to share their desires and experiences and make friends with English speakers. Activities are play-based and include dancing, singing and reading picture books.
Whether you are looking for a class that will give your child his/her first exposure to English or a class that will expand on the English language knowledge he/she is learning at international school, this is a class that cannot be missed.

English3-5 years old

The class is composed of a variety of 5-10 minute activities to encourage your child’s concentration skills while preventing him/her from losing interest. Since the class is drop-off (parent optional), children are given the opportunity to gain their independence and learn how to work with their peers. Although the curriculum is the same in all classes, due to differences in communication levels, the program is separated into a 3-year old class, a 4-year old class and a mixed class for 3-4 year olds.

＊Even though this class is targeted at non-native English speakers, children from English-speaking countries are currently participating in many of our other classes. As a result, customers who attend our English classes can take advantage of our PlayGyms (free play in our gym room) to practice using the English skills they learned with native English speakers. This a large differentiating factor between Gymboree and other English language conversation schools.
